5 Best Class Sets of WoW Patch 10.1

The new raid, Aberrus the Shadowed Crucible, is coming very soon (May 9). So it's time to take a look at its class sets' visuals! Each raid release is similar to a fashion week and the new sets will be ubiquitous for sure! Our swag jury inspected all the new sets and picked 5 of them which look really great. Others are not exactly bad but they are more or less regular, like nothing special. These are, on the contrary, quite spectacular and you might want to collect them all! Let's see what we have here!

Druid

The druid set is really inspired this time! Although it incorporates lots of features common for the class: horns, leaves, crescents, etc – they all are implemented in a fresh and awesome-looking fashion here. It looks like the ultimate gear set for the class. Each color version of it brings something unique to your appearance: the blue one reminds of classic Night Elvian druids, the red one is reminiscent of Firelands druids, and so on. A great set to look at and wear. Probably, the best one in this tier.

Death Knight

Death Knight's set is just really solid this time. Nothing mind-blowing but greatly wholesome. The slight illumination coming from some parts of the armor (most noticeably from the shoulder pads and the belt) makes it all look very classy. We wouldn't say that it's the best death knight set ever or something but you will not regret assembling it whole in this content cycle for sure – the future you will be very grateful for such a cool addition to the wardrobe.

Paladin

The funny thing about paladins in this tier is that their set looks like something for priests while the priest set looks like something for paladins. The aesthetics similarity is understandable: after all these 2 classes have been inspired by one theme initially – the Holy Light. Naturally, both classes have evolved to become something more complex than just "this guy has a hammer and brings the light with it" and "this guy has a staff and brings the light with spells". Anyway, this new set is really awesome: it definitely looks like some mixture of plate and cloth armor but it's not a disadvantage at all. The Holy spec will enjoy it most, of course, while retribution and protection pallies might find it not fitting for their fantasy. We'd say that yes, that's the case but it's still a great set to have in your wardrobe as it's well designed and classy.

Priest

Priests are really worth taking a look at in this update! The wings, the nimbus, the glow, the keffiyeh-like helmet or whatever there's over their head.  All those numerous elements make the priests look really bizarre and cool. It must be the most outstanding set this time. It's not just "yeah, sure, yet another collection of gear", it's "well, love it or hate it, you'll remember it". All classes need such sets at some point and priests are lucky to have it this time. The lighter versions (yellow and blue) will be perfect for Holy and Discipline specs while the darker ones (purple and violet) are great for Shadow.

Warrior

Warriors go full Cataclysm with this set. Not all of you might remember it, but Tier 13 (the one coming from the Dragon Soul where we fought the Deathwing) already used this idea of the dragon armor. It also had this dragon-head helmet and horns, and spikes, and whatnot. But it doesn't mean that the current set is just a copy of that. No way! The shoulder pads have been designed with a very peculiar idea in mind – to give them this shape of wings – and it works really well. The dragon-head helmet is also very different from what we had in the Cataclysm set. We'd say that the sets are like brothers to each other: they definitely come from the same inspiration source but they have unique features that make them both great in their own right. Anyway, the new warrior set is definitely worth collecting and you should have it (at least the Heroic version which has these crazy colors!).
