5 best rewards in WoW Trading Post (August 2023)
This month we get lots of things to choose from. 2 mounts, several former Blizzard Shop exclusives, several pets that have been unobtainable for very long, and so on. This is a great month to catch up with so many missed opportunities that most of us have had. Let's take a closer look at 5 most noteworthy rewards (in our view) from the Trading Post in August.

Blood Troll Transmog
Item name: Ensemble: Bones of the Bloodhunter
What is it: transmog set
Get it for: filling the monthly bar
Go full berserk with this terrifying savage transmog set! If you have troll characters, they simply must have it! If you've played the Battle for Azeroth expansion, you know who blood trolls are. Unfortunately, we never got them as an allied race (or as a separate race for that matter) but here's the closest you can get to that. You will get this set for reaching the monthly goal!
Clefthoof Mount
Item name: Ancestral Clefthoof
What is it: ground mount
Get it for: 650 trader's tenders
Clefthoof mounts were quite widespread during the Warlords of Draenor days. You could get one for participating in virtually any activity. Here's a new color option for your collection – a greyish-whitish clefthoof. Must be a patriarch of some clefthoof tribe or pack, or herd, or whatever they have. A perfect primal beast for a mighty adventurer!

Fireland Weapon
Item name: Fury of the Firelord
What is it: 1-hand mace transmog
Get it for: 750 trader's tenders
Harness the power of Ragnaros, the Firelord! This is not Sulfuras, of course, but still a decent looking mace. In fact, it's a flail – a weapon with a chain. You could obtain it during the first month of the Trading Post – but if you haven't, here's a great opportunity to make up for that! It's a very good thing that such great rewards come back to the rotation from time to time.
Alabaster Flying Mounts
Item name: Alabaster Stormtalon (Alliance) / Alabaster Thunderwing (Horde)
What is it: flying mount that used to be a Blizzard Shop exclusive
Get it for: 650 trader's tenders
These mounts look quite weird. As if they were not properly colored after their models had been create! The idea is that they are classical statues. You could purchase these flying mounts from the Blizzard Store at the WoW Classic launch event. So that was the connection. Now you can get them for just collecting 650 tenders. Alliance and Horde get a gryphon and a wyvern, respectively – you get both at once but you can only use one on a character of either faction.
What about non-cosmetic gear?

Portable Transmogrifer
Item name: Ethereal Transmogrifier
What is it: toy that lets you access transmogrification from anywhere
Get it for: 500 trader's tenders
Here's a great toy that you could previously only get through a TCG reward code. It lets you access the transmogrification interface and, consequently, your collection of looks from anywhere in the game world. Just click this toy and you have everything you need for a great update of your visuals! The only drawback is the 10 minute cooldown but it's alright. Nothing is perfect and you will hardly need to transmogrify yourself more often than once every 10 minutes, right?

There are so many other great rewards that didn't make it in top-5 but that at least deserve a honorable mention here. For example, an old-school pet that you could get during the 2008 Olympics – Spirit of Competition. Just think of it – 2008! That's 15 years ago! It's not too often that we get these ghosts of the past come to life! We also have 2 helmets that used to be Blizzard Store exclusives: Crown of Eternal Winter and Hood of Hungering Darkness. There are also several great-looking shields: faction-themed City Guard Heater Shield and Grunt's Buckler, for example. You can collect as many of them as you want with all the trader's tender that you've collected! We can help you get as many of them as it's currently possible!
