Fyrakk's Loot: 6 Great Rewards

Fyrakk seems to be the last boss of the Dragonflight expansion. While this might be not the biggest celebrity of the World of Warcraft that we've had to defeat before moving on to the next story, he's still a formidable foe. And this wyrm's got style too. Let's take a look at what great spoils – apart from the horned owl that only the elite few running the Mythic raid can get – he hides from you. We've picked 3 great weapons and 3 awesome trinkets and gathered information about them (and pictures of them!) below!

Gholak

What is it? One-hand axe
Full item name: Gholak, the Final Conflagration
Specs eligible for the drop:

  • Death Knight: Frost
  • Paladin: Retribution
  • Warrior: Fury, Protection

A great luck for melee DPS plate-wielders. If this beauty drops to you, you can be sure that your damage figures and overall efficiency will go up drastically. There are 2 reasons for that. The first is that you have a random chance to do a heavy Shadow hit to your target. You suffer the same amount of damage too but your healers should be able to take care of that. It's not something to rely on, perhaps, but it's still a lovely bonus.

What's more consistent is the 400% damage bonus that activates when you use this axe versus enemies whose health exceeds 90%. That's usually the case at the beginning of the fight and what that means is that boss encounters' opening is now your own showtime. The crazy massive blows that you're gonna make with Gholak will speed up your team's progress towards the next phase. And even though you won't do as much damage after the first 10% of the boss' health is gone, you'll still enjoy great power-ups coming from its impressive stats.

Vakash

What is it? One-hand mace
Full item name: Vakash, the Shadowed Inferno
Specs eligible for the drop:

  • Druid: Balance, Restoration
  • Evoker: Augmentation, Devastation, Preservation
  • Monk: Mistweaver
  • Paladin: Holy
  • Priest: Discipline, Holy, Shadow
  • Shaman: Elemental, Restoration

This mace is not for bonking enemies on their silly heads. It's mainly just to hold while casting stuff. The stats tell the whole story: intellect, haste, mastery – it's definitely a good fit for casters. But there's a trick: it has the same self-damaging bonus as Gholak. So you randomly do an insanely powerful Shadow magic hit to your target and to yourself. What that means is that healers, perhaps, won't enjoy that effect much while DPS casters should be fine with it as long as healers on your team are good.

As for the 400% damage bonus that works against enemies with 90% of HP and above, it's also identical to the one with the axe we've discussed before. The good thing is that you don't have to approach your targets – it applies to casts too.

Rashon

What is it? Polearm
Full item name: Rashon, the Immortal Blaze
Specs eligible for the drop:

  • Druid: Feral,, Guardian
  • Hunter: Survival
  • Monk: Brewmaster, Windwalker

Now it's time to introduce yet another weapon with the very same couple of effects. Yes, even this polearm does those 2 things: double big hit to you and your target + 400% damage increase while fighting mostly healthy opponents. Why have designers decided to make it so boring? Who knows but the bonuses are actually pretty good for damage dealers. So if you play any melee leather DPSer (except Demon Hunter), you're in for a treat.

What's even better, you can make use of it even if you're a tank: guardian druids and brewmaster monks can deliver tons of damage with it as well while being healed heavily by their team's support players. After all, tanks are the primary aim of their casts most of the time, so not much will change in that regard.

Augury of the Primal Flame

What is it? Trinket
Full item name: Augury of the Primal Flame

This trinket is perfect for all Agility-based DPS classes. Not only does it give you a solid Critical Strike increase as its primary stat, but also you have a passive on-wear effect that you can use to enhance your critical strikes even further. At a random moment you can trigger the effect Annihilating Flame that makes your crits do half as much damage. The damage is not sent all to one target, however – it gets divided among enemies close to your main target. Keep damage going to make this effect even more powerful.

Blossom of Amirdrassil

What is it? Trinket
Full item name: Blossom of Amirdrassil

This one's obviously made for healers. It even explicitly states in its on-equip effect description that it gets triggered upon healing targets. If such a target is below 80% before being healed, it can get the eponymous effect every once in a minute – Blossom of Amirdrassil. It is a sort of HOT (healing on time effect) that is quite powerful. But it's not that simple: if by the end of the Blossom effect the target's health is 95% or more, the effect is shared with 3 nearby teammates and they also get healing, but a lesser one. Under certain circumstances (if a target that gets this effect is not fully healed by it) you can even get a temporary shield.

Tainted Rageheart

What is it? Trinket
Full item name: Fyrakk's Tainted Rageheart

This trinket might be a good option for tanks. Although it doesn't give you a direct stamina bonus, you get a good dose of versatility and something more. For example, the passive effect that comes alongside it deals damage to both your target and you every 3 seconds while you're in combat. There's even an active effect that you can trigger whenever you want and it gives you a thick shield for 10 seconds. Surprisingly, it also damages you. But your enemies also get some every 2 seconds and they get it as an AOE. Hence, several opponents suffer at once. Sounds really good!
