WoW Class sets of Amirdrassil – Leather

Amirdrassil is a great raid and most of its class sets are also very attractive. Both in terms of what they look like and what bonuses they have. In this blog post we've collected all the leather-type sets and those include gear for such classes as:

  1. Demon Hunter
  2. Druid
  3. Monk
  4. Leather
So without further ado let's dive right into it!

Demon Hunter sets

Demon Hunters will be Demon Hunters. All those skulls, horns, fell fire, bare belly... You know how it often is with their sets. And that's exactly what we see in this one. And it might be a great match for the class but we're really puzzled with what connection this has to the Emerald Dream. Isn't it just a DH set that could be a reward for any Legion-related raid? We'd say so. But it doesn't mean that it's bad – whether you should like it or not depends only on your preferences, of course.

Now let's take a look at DH set's bonuses:

specsWHAT'S UPGRADED2-ITEM BONUS4-ITEM BONUS
HAVOCBlade Dance, The HuntBlade Dance: it can now cast Throw Glaive at the target (35% damage, 50% chance)The Hunt: speed up its cooldown (-0.4 sec) and extend its DOT (+4 sec) with using Throw Glaive
VENGEANCESigil of FlameIts damage over time can shatter an extra Soul Fragment from a target and deal extra damage. Speed up its cooldown by 1 sec by spending 40 rage+2% damage and healing, +2% max health for 8 sec (stacks up to 5) when you hit a target affected by Sigil of Flame
Havoc's bonuses make Throw Glaive a more important ability: it now can be triggered by Blade Dance and it itself powers up The Hunt. That's neat and is a lovely damage bonus. While the Vengeance special effects focuses on making Sigil of Flame a crucial spell.

Druid sets

Druids are the most Emerald Dreamish class of all. And you'd expect their set to be particularly stunning but, to be honest, it hardly lives up to that. It's a good set, with impressive shoulders but... that's about it. The helmet is a bit underwhelming, the tunic is nothing special. Some tints look really good but this set will hardly be on many druid players' top list, as we see it now. But who knows, maybe we're wrong.

Okay, but what about the effects that it has for Druids? Let's see:
specsWHAT'S UPGRADED2-ITEM BONUS4-ITEM BONUS
BALANCEElcipse, Starfire, Wrath, Starsurge, StarfallDreamstate: get this buff when Eclipse expires or when you enter combat. Get -40% cast time and +60% damage for 2 casts of Starfire or WrathUp to +15% to your Eclipse's damage bonus (Arcane or Nature) after using Starsurge or Starfall

GUARDIANRage of the SleeperDream Thorns: absorb 10% damage. They appear after Rage of the Sleeper expires+1 sec (up to 5) duration for Rage of the Sleeper for each 40 rage spent. Dream Thorns are now Blazing Thorns and not only absorb damage but reflect some of it to attackers
RESTORATIONGrove Guardian's Nourishes, Clearcasting, RegrowthGGN heals 2 more targets within 40 ydsRegrowth also casts Nourish to close injured targets (200% effectiveness). To trigger that, use Clearcasting
That's lots of goodies there. Balance druids get a great Eclipse improvement, Ferals get their Feral Frenzy powered up, Guardians – Rage of the Sleeper, and Restos get practically all their arsenal upgraded in some way.

Monk sets

Monks get an interesting set of items this time. They are obviously inspired by the Crane-temple bretheren and aesthetics. This gear looks very well-fitting for the class and the it also has some Emerald Dream-related elements (clouds effect over the shoulder pads and images of clouds on the trousers).

Now let's see how Monk's abilities will be enhanced with the set:

specs

Celestial Brew: get Stagger that will prevent incoming damage (equal to damage dealt by your Shadowflame)
MISTWEAVERRenewing Mist, Chi HarmonyRenewing Mist: applies Chi Harmony that gives +50% healing from you to the target (8 sec) Chi Harmony: 15% of its healing is stored and then applied to targets (that don't have active Chi Harmony) when you use Renewing Mist

Each Monk's spec gets an interesting bunch of special effects. The Windwalker's focus on Blackout Reinforcement is especially fascinating since its bonuses affect most skills from the rotation.

Rogue sets

Rogues look fantastic. We're not entirely sure why this very design had been chosen for the Emerald Dream's set but whatever. It gives the idea of poisons, pestilence, and sharp blades. Not exactly the images you get when thinking of the beautiful tranquil forest-filled world. But since the result of the designers' work is so slick, we're ready to excuse this absence of obvious connection.

But do Rogue's bonuses keep up with the visuals? Let's find out:

specs
UPGRADE FOR2-ITEM BONUS4-ITEM BONUS
ASSASSINATIONEnvenomNatureblight: get this effect for each 10 spent energy. The effect gives +1% attack speed and +1% Nature damage (6 sec). It can stack up to 15 times.Envenom: when you have an active Envenom and use Envenom again, the active one explodes and deals Nature damage (within 8 yds)
OUTLAWSinister Strike, Roll the BonesSinister Strike: get 15% chance to strike twiceRoll the Bones: refreshes the random Roll the Bones combat enhancement that you currently have for 40 sec
SUBTLETYEviscerate, Rupture, Black PowderUsing those 3 skills can create a shadow clone that will repeat your finishing moves, dealing half the Shadow damage as youShadow clones: they get +10% damage to attacks and give you 2 combo points per clone
That thing with shadow clones looks really fun! The fact that you can increase their damage with the 4-piece bonus makes it even better. The other two specs' bonuses are also great, so Rogues are really lucky to get both strong power-ups and a sharp looking outfit.
