WoW Trading Post May 2023 – 5 best rewards

Another month, another bunch of great rewards in the Trading Post! Seriously, it might be one of the best additions to the game recently – each month we're excited to see what new stuff is there for us to grab. And it's obvious that obtaining these rewards can't become a new full-scale activity for everyone but lost of casual players find joy in this re-exploring of the old content and just having fun. So if you're one of them, here's our top-5 of this month's (May 2023) items. And if you're not, here are 5 reasons for you to become one!

***

Battle turtle mount

Item name: Savage Green Battle Turtle.
What is it: Ground mount.
Get it for: filling the Traveler's Log progress bar.

Although Dragonflight is not a ground-mount expansion, getting another walker to your collection is always a great thing to do. The model seems to be brand-new and the quality of the textures used for it is outstandingly high. You'd really not want to miss this one.

Trial of Valor-themed set

Item name: Ensemble: Vestment of the Honored Valarjar.
What is it: Epic cosmetic cloth set.
Get it for: 850 trader's tenders.

Trial of Valor is a short raid of the Legion era. It used to be quite popular thanks to the unique title and other rewards you could there. It also had a similar looking set of a different color. The set is viking-themed and for a good reason: the raid's setting was in the Odyn's realm which is full of apparent references to the Norse mythology. So here's a great chance to get the whole set without farming the old raid. And you get 2 options for the legs slot: pants and kilt.

Get even more rewards this month!

Do you know that you can get 4 Great Vault rewards this March? You can get them of a way higher item level than usual with the help of our carry services! Check out our Mythic Dungeon boosts or WoW Raid carries to see what you can be interested in!

Island Expedition-themed leather set

Item name: Ensemble: Kvaldir Scout Leathers.
What is it: Epic cosmetic leather set.
Get it for: 750 trader's tenders.

Island Expeditions were such a great idea poorly fulfilled. And that's why few people these days recall or visit them. Collectors, however, have no choice: expeditions have loads of various cosmetic stuff for you to obtain there. The drop chance of anything there is absolutely random and the drop table itself is chaotic. So if you don't want to spend time on trying to understand what's going on there, here's a great opportunity for you to get one of expeditions' transmog set without much time investment. It might not be the most spectacular one but it suits some themes quite well.

Robot dog pet

Item name: Pippin.
What is it: Rare pet.
Get it for: 600 trader's tenders.

Although we already have an option to get a robot dog pet, here's another one and the robot dog here is of a different color. The other mechanic canine (Alarm-o-Dog) can be obtained via the Gnomeregan battle pet challenge which might not be to everyone's liking. And that dog is just grey / metallic while this one is gloriously golden!

What about non-cosmetic gear?

Perhaps, your character needs some upgrades? Cosmetic items are nice but your in-combat performance is essential to your progress in WoW. Consider getting a fast and affordable Gearing boost – take a look at our options right here!

1-handed sword transmog

Item name: Fang of the Mountain.
What is it: Cosmetic one-handed sword.
Get it for: 400 trader's tenders.

Sometimes we get the idea that some weapon models of the Warlords of Draenor era are among the best-looking ones in the game. Fang of the Mountain is a recolored version of a beautiful Blackrock Foundry one-handed sword called similarly: Fang of the Earth. The difference is not major – it's mostly about the lighting – but it's still great to have such an option and not having to farm a legacy raid for that. Especially such a long and eventful one as BRF.
